2 Hangzhou

Day 2!

Lady Antebellum

All we'd Ever Need

My backpack, took my camera, a good pair of walking shoes, got myself out of the hotel & off i go! :D

'Qiantang' River'

'Six Harmonies' Pagoda

Initially planned to visit 'WuZhen' Ancient Town (one of China's water towns). However decided to leave that to one of the weekends since i could travel down from Shanghai. Its further though. Oh wells ...

Exploring and exploring ... I found myself climbing up the dragon hill located next to the pagoda. (i call it a mountain!) This was totally unplanned. As it got higher, it got steeper with long continuous steps, pace slowed down by alot, dragging my feet to take my every next step. Water that i bought along the way ran dry. ):

I was wearing black skinnies while hikers were wearing shorts and trackpants, totally inappropriate for such an event. Got a number of weird stares along the way. ): but Hey! it was unplanned! Black skinnies climbing up the 'mountain' was so not funny! legs were persiring like mad! HAHA super super warm! But it was all worth it yes?! (:

Gateway to the peak ...

Murmured under my breath 'Wow!' when i got to the very peak, breath-takingly beautiful !!

The peaks of series of hills

In comparison to how immense and vast God's universe is, i feel very small. 'God of wonders beyond our galaxy, the universe declares your majesty' As I trotted downhill, i thought if a hill is that high, that wide, what more mountains?! I left feeling refreshed.

Almost reaching the foot of the hill, along the way, i saw this small little girl with tiny legs trying very hard to catch up with her daddy who was pushing this pram with her brother in it. She saw me and opened her eyes super widely, smiled and waved frantically at me. She's so adorable! i wanted to take a photo with her, but i was scared her father will think i want to abduct his child. She made my day! (:
