right after service,
FULL band headed back stage for 'thrash-out jamming' session.
sat around and talked about our previous day's jamming practice.
atmosphere was rather tense.
had a serious long talk.
timing was off, chords out and whatnot.
yea, time to get down to business.
3 weeks was wad we gave ourselves- our 'deadline'
gotta nail it down
friends are friends, we can joke and all.
but when responsibilites like this comes,
its just a very different approach from the norm.
in a much more solemn and reflective way.
everybody just gets down to very serious business.
each accountable for their very own actions.
knowing that in order to improve, we have to really sit down and really talk it out and seriously
and in a mature manner, just settle it.
'when there is a time to play, there is a time to play. when there is a time to be serious, we gotta be.'
a lot of sacrifices will have to be made.
some stuff said may very not be nice. yea but.
reminded that no personal attacks involved. i think that something just gotta be said and done just to be better - a better musician, a better player, a better person. finding rooms for improvement.
after the whole thing's over, and knowing on where we went wrong,
we can stand up, put the whole thing aside, shake hands, go for lunch and continue our norm routine, good buds
i think this way we gain, make amends and perfect what work we've achieved to accomplish.
something that i've really grown to learn from it.
myself . the rest
